Hello,
I want to create profiles for my kids, but also prevent them from accessing the underlying sources through "Files..."
The way I have my Kodi setup is following:
1) I have 2 profiles: Master and Kids. Both use the same sources.xml which points to a nfs shared folder on a Synology NAS.
2) On the Synology NAS box I have a MySQL database for the master profile which I call MasterVideo (+MasterMusic) and a database for the Kids profile which I call KidsVideo ( +KidsMusic).
3) I scrape a few movies for both Master and Kids profile in different folders.
4) If I logon to Kids profile and go to Movies and push on ".." twice, I can then access "Files" and traverse through the whole source.
How can I prevent 4?
I've tried deleting the sources.xml, but then the library thumbnails disappear in Movies.
I've also tried locking the sources, and the same happens... library thumbnails disappear ujntil I unlock the shared folder.
