I would like to play iso files of my DVDs & BDs saved on a QNAP NAS and controlled by an Android phone with no (other) PC running and played on a DNLA device. I can make the iso files fine with a Nimbie robot, anydvd and imgburn. I don't want mkv or mp4 or any other files, just play the iso like it was the real disc. The QNAP should be able to transcode on the fly to mobile if required. Kodi is offered as an app by QNAP but I want to check if it will mount the movie iso and play and if there is an app for Android to browse the media library and work the movie menu and virtual disc player.
