hi.
I moved from windows media center to Kodi last week my whole photo album.
I appreciate the speed of kodi's GUI on underlying linux mint OS.
Unfortunately, I feel disapointed looking at my old kodachrome HD scans, full of grain an noise at display time.
Most of them are close to 5000 px wide, and 3000 high.
I tried to use the advancedsettings.xml file, as follows:
<advancedsettings>
<imageres>1080</imageres>
<fanartres>1080</fanartres>
</advancedsettings>
It didn't worked.
I also compared kodi's rendition of such an HD picture, to a lower one, 1024x768. The second one displays well.
Could anybody involved in photo display tell me how to proceded to get a good display ?
Thank you very much.
NB: my photo album stores almost 25000 family pictures.
