I've got all my music video blu-rays ripped file-by-file to a network folder connected to KODI's Videos depot. KODI fails to play most of them if not all.
For example it totally fails to play Depeche Mode "Tour Of The Universe" or George Michael "Live In London" and it can hardly handle Rammstein "In America".
With Depeche Mode and George Michael it can play neither Blu-Ray menu nor Main Title displaying quite operable menu items over green background after ~15 minutes the button was pressed, no matter what I've chosen - the menu or the main title. And when I start the playback using that original BD menu on green background I can only hear the sound while the screen remains green.
As for Rammstein KODI can display its menu but it takes enormous time to start playback while the menu is still animating.
And so on.
Is KODI applicable for playing BDs?
I wouldn't ask but my Dune HD Duo plays all aforesaid BDVs perfectly from the same sources.
