How is the correct structure of folders that I need to use, to get the thumbs, fanart, Info etc?

I used:

Emulator Folder
-> artwork folder
....-> boxfront, fanarts, nfos (and everything else)
-> roms folder
Emulator Program
thumb.jpg
fanart.jpg

I can´t understand how to use assets..
