This should be in a different thread - but HDR10 support and DV support isn't the same as auto colour space switching. That is EOTF switching - which isn't the same thing. That post appears to confirm automatic EOTF switching - i.e. switching between SDR and HDR (and support for DV) but doesn't talk about colour space/gamut.
Auto Colour Space switching (aka Auto Gamut switching) is how Rec 709 (HD Colour gamut, also used for some UHD SDR) and Rec 2020 (Wide Colour Gamut used for most UHD HDR and some UHD SDR) is handled. Some devices run at Fixed Rec.2020 output and map Rec. 709 into the Rec. 2020 colour gamut space (effectively converting Rec 709 sources into Rec 2020 with correct colour mapping), others will switch their output colour gamut between Rec 709 and Rec 2020 and output Rec 709 as Rec 709 and Rec 2020 as Rec 2020 (which then leaves the display to handle any mapping). Both approaches should deliver similar quality results if handled correctly.
Conversion from Rec 2020 gamut with a ST.2084 EOTF (aka most/all HDR10 content) to Rec 709 with a BT.1886 EOTF (i.e. regular HD) is an issue for many - as they want to watch UHD HDR content in HD SDR. That's often a big point of difference between platforms. (As Netflix and Amazon Prime don't need this functionality - as if you are configured for HD SDR output they will stream an HD SDR stream, so no conversion issues within the device)
