You can check the Netflix available bitrates when playing in Edge (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D)?

Yeah it shows but rates up to something like 4000. Can't remember off the top of my head.

When playing it maxes out at they bit rate, but never goes above 1080p resolution.

The list with bitrates should go up to 16000.

Exactly. It goes nowhere near the bitrate offered for 4k.

That's the same in the app and browser. So something is missing.
