Clearly the graphics have an issue. You didn't indicate versions etc.. that a proper debug log (wiki) posted to a public paste-bin and that URL linked back to this thread would show. So until we get more details, it's 2 paragraphs of speculation.

I've got the same issue on an HP PC. I get the message "Can not create GUI" with the basic graphic driver and if I update it as per manufacturer's website, I get "Kodi has an error"

Debug log can be initiated inside a advanced settings file prior to launch Log file/Advanced (wiki) 1.2 Turn on debugging using a file (advancedsettings.xml). Details like hardware, versions of software and what Kodi you are trying to get working would be nice. This area might be a good forum to check out to see if there is something that might help http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=110 and please note hardware requirements Supported hardware (wiki)

Log file/Advanced (wiki) @dnm29 The error is a catch-all and your issue may be the same or quite different, a proper debug log posted to a public paste-bin and that URL linked back to this thread might harbour some clues.

Log file (wiki) The coloured text indicates a 'hot' link that is clickable and links with wiki's (explanations) follow through with my previous link and it's added sub title 1.2 Turn on debugging using a file (advancedsettings.xml)

@Dem0nsaint1988 Sorry just spotted Operating System Microsoft Windows Vista Home Edition I must have been sleeping waiting for a debug log. Supported hardware (wiki) OS recommended: Windows 7 or higher is recommended, but some user have it going on Vista with all the required patches and latest services and a good graphics card. Without going too much further tweaking a painful install, I'll bet my two shoes that Kodi 15.2 runs like a charm... give it a shot. http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/win32/ol...engard.exe

@kokolino23 ditto, try to get lucky! http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/win32/ol...engard.exe

If this solution fails, we'll dig deeper into the proper debug log, yuk or perhaps persuade you to move into a Raspberry or lighter operating system.
