Also, I assume you never tested any of the previous weekly 4.10-rc builds - is your Harmony (most likely lirc) functioning in 4.10-rc8? 4.10-rc7? Etc.

Can you provide more detail - has it stopped working completely, ie. you have no buttons working, or is it just button repeat that is not working? Can you confirm if 4.10-rc8 and 4.10-rc7 better/worse/same.
The button repeat issue is being caused by the media_build package, which I may drop from future builds until we have an updated version that doesn't break other features (ie. lirc).
