AMLogic HDR is broken overall, but it works in OSMC on the Vero 4K. We continue to improve it and work on some of the corner cases.
Currently, you need to manually enable HDR. Our autoswitching detection is hit and miss, but we're aware of this and fixing this up. I'm aware that another distribution is using some of our fixes; but they're not implementing them on the kernel side as well (just Kodi) which is resulting in some bad reports.
In the interest of transparency, we don't pass MaxCLL / MaxFall at this time however. When I tested passing these values through, I could not notice a difference on many displays, including the highly acclaimed LG OLED B7s.
