Many thanks - I'm currently waiting for some new builds to finish, then will test increasing the timeout, and hopefully include any changes in tonight's release.

Edit: Well, the change itself is fairly trivial so I'll include it anyway, and obviously only in these test builds - we'll need to think about what to do for official releases (if indeed there's anything to do, as ideally Kodi shouldn't crash etc.)
