#0518 - not working. debug log http://ix.io/1ucq
Thanks for narrowing it down.
Based on your #0518 log:
1. You navigate to
Settings
2. Enter
System Information
3. Exit out of
System Information
, back to Settings
4. Enter
System
5. Display is lost
After #4 there are a slew of XRANDR calls to change resolution, at which point the display is lost. I can't reproduce this on either a i5 NUC or Revo 3700 (Nvidia ION2). I have no idea why these XRANDR calls are being executed.
Does this only happen when entering
System
? What about Player
or Services
?I've looked at #0518 and most of the non-XBMC changes can be discounted: the lto change has no effect on the build (it was mostly present in #0517 and the extra commit in #0518 is purely cosmetic as far as these builds are concerned), while the updated Linux PR adds new AMD CPU microcode and AMD GPU firmware, which would have no effect on your Bay Trail/Celeron CPU.
However the XBMC changes in #0518 mostly relate to resolution/refresh rate switching or selection, including whitelist: ping @lrusak, @fritsch?
