 well hello there, troubleshooting section of Kodi Chromebox wiki page...

No HDMI Audio on 2018/Kabylake Chromeboxes:

• the snd_soc_skl audio driver is breaking things, so we need to blacklist it. Open up the 'configfiles' network share on your Chromebox, then the modprobe.d folder. If it doesn't already exist, create a new text file blacklist.conf and add the line 'blacklist snd_soc_skl' to it. Save and reboot the Chromebox.
  

 Hmm, interesting, was checking Kodi.tv and LibreELEC.tv only for this issue, and found nothing. Guess not enough people are running on CN65 yet!
It works just fine with LibreELEC 9.0.0/Kodi18, but seems to break in all releases I tried after that.
When was this issue introduced, i.e. when was "snd_soc_skl audio driver" added/changed?

@Milhouse, I do not know if it started with #217, that was just the first nightly that I tried from your builds after having upgraded to LibreELEC 9, and started experiencing the screen calibration issue, and tried to fix it by using your builds.

Yep, hope this gets fixed soon!

Yep, blacklisting worked! Running #227 now with working HDMI ALSA Audio!
