i had done a little googling as there was an article mentioning 3 new packages in the latest OS update which could potentially be causing it? one was said to be called 'NIMH' for 'not in my home'. wondering whether this may be causing it? as it was only 1 article you obviously cant take it to be 100% correct/true

If you visit the Amazon website they make it clear the Fire stick is marketed toward paid services. .Perhaps you should contact Amazon and ask them.
