In fact I did not read it that way. But yeah communication issues over the internet happen quite often. No one died - all still here (including no ppa) - so all fine :-)
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

If you're using the PVR add-ins, I'd wait a bit. Looks like Kodi main stuff has been compiled, but the PVR add-ons haven't yet (at least at the time of this post). So you all might be advised to wait ... a little bit ... longer before jumping to immediately apt upgrade.

PVR addons not updated, don't upgrade yet if you need them.
EDIT: installed the mythtv pvr deb from the unstable ppa for now.
