Good day.
I use Kodibuntu, and I've updated KODI to latest version yesterday. Almost everything migrated as it should, there was some troubleshooting necessary regarding video drivers and hardware doecoding - it's sorted out now.
But I have troubles with subtitles.
With KODI 16, I could play any mkv file with subtitle language either defined or undefined - if it was default stream, it would be automatically played back.
But now I have to enable every subtitle by myself - and I've set that default subtitle option for all videos (who thought of putting these settings available only when playing video?) but it doesn't work!
How can I set them to work as expected? MKV is a file which can have subtitles, and KODI should treat settings from these files as primary settings, indipendent of any system settings. IF the file says there are video, audio and subtitle tracks set to play by default, then they should play by default. What is next, disabling default audio track based on someone's preference? I agree that there should be an option to do it MANUALLY, but not automatically.
Please, fix that behaviour, or provide us the proper settings for setting that. Also, please move those subtitle audio video default settings into settings page, where it should be in the first place.
