problem with mkv videos

Hi team.

Iv just upgraded my 16.1 (its worked prfectly) to v17 krypton.
First big problem what I found is krypton have some problem with mkv files.
avi works good, but when i tried to play some mkv files screen is black with some small "x" on the middle, and then krypton going back to start menu.
someone had that issue?

No Debug Log no issue ... most likely intel + old drivers ... which is easy to solve by one command.

Don't do that as root ... but with the user running kodi ...

If you cannot upload it, you need to do it manually, what you posted above basically has no information at all that would be useful to help you solving this issue.

Hi again,

I did that now kodi runing mkv videos but only 720p and uhd Smile , runing 1080p but only audio, there is no video at all(but showing subtittles).

Try unchecking VAAPI in Video settings

No he is not the best ... you are now running without hw acceleration, your problem is outdated drivers / especially mesa.
Your snippets posted fully into the forum are useless for debugging though.

If you want to solve it properly, provide:

Thanks for help, i did it all, but still have a problem, full hd (1080p) works only with uncheck VAAPI
