I suffered with this for years and I didn't particularly want to attempt to disable a pin or buy commercial device to do it as it seemed quite expensive.
Recently I bought a "Duronic HDMI Mini Switch Box" so I could connect another device and it has stopped the problem! It only cost me £2.99 delivered from Amazon and must block the signal.
If you are just buying this to solve the problem it's always on so if you use it just for one device you won't know it's there. I assume it blocks CEC as well though which I don't use.
