I have a 4k Tv. On my android box settings, it says 4k resolution. When I go into Kodi settings, the resolution is greyed out. Any ideas?

All video will be output at 4K.
Any 1080p or less video content will be up scaled by the Box to 4K and output.
The Kodi GUI is also 1080p, that too will be up scaled.
There is no auto resolution switching on 99% of Android boxes. If your box cannot also Refresh switch the option will be greyed out.
If you want all this to work seamlessly get a AMLogic S905 box and run LibreELEC Kodi on it.
