well at least Kodi need "advanced" Custom Video settings though

for me that there is no any difference for video quality 16 and 17

and I want to use my HDD and USB-flash videos on Kodi;but now mosty I use of them on my Bluray player++

Therefore asking you is it worth to go from AmLogic912 to RC3399Huh? (as I mean asking this only video[picture] quality)
because willing to buy another device such as ;

@ bergamesk Try not to high-jack threads; this is forum is for video problems, your query is best handled in hardware, and as far as 912 devices read this http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=252916

Moving to hardware, renaming title "go from AmLogic912 to RC3399"

The straight up view of devices like these....

Geekbuying certainly can see you coming. Customers like yourself are called Tech Specs hounds, looking for the biggest numbers, fastest number GHz, largest number of Cores, USB3, SATA and on and on and on.

Frankly none of that maters if you get a device without proper bug busted Android Firmware to be able to handle Kodi Audio and Video decoding.
Without that any Android device is going to have issues.

Do you know what the Firmware is like on this device ?

Rockchip also have a history too of not following standard API's now needed for proper Android Kodi Krypton support.

If you have the common 1080p dark screen problems on a AMLogic S912 head over to the Freaktab Website and install alternate Firmware from a guy called Superceleron. Buying another unproven, likely rubbish Firmware - Android box is a complete gamble and will likely not fix your problems.

The START HERE - Pick the Right Kodi Box (updated May 2017) thread has lots of decent Kodi devices ones that comes with supported Android Firmware from the sellers.

well guys why I'm still use my "Bluray players" for the best picture quality(SD/720/1080)!
I bought this AndroBox for "other" pusposes,just I'm arrange to enable might be even better PQ
but as it seems that in near future those boxes never beat BD device quality!

on the other hand Kodi and other all matter are OK+
