v17 Adding MySQL credentials within Kodi ??
#1
Hi ...

Is there any way to add the username, password and all the MySQL server infos within Kodi itself ?

I can't get into the installation dir so I can't use iFile to do that ...

Thanks in advance for helping !

Not directly - they need to be put into an AdvancedSettings.xml (wiki) file which then needs to be added to the userdata (wiki) folder.

You'd need to create it somewhere that Kodi can see or access, and then move it using the built-in file manager if you can't do something similar externally via a share or manual transfer.

I can't remember the version but I am sure that I saw a MySQL area in the Settings of Kodi ...

I'm gonna check this File Transfer ...

You also, can access the user data folder via itunes (on your mac) in the app section of your device (scroll all the way down to the file exchange section and select kodi there)
