I didn’t mind Embuary not being available on Matrix as long as it was an option to stay on Leia. NVIDIA Shield forced-updated Kodi to Matrix today. Looking forward to a Matrix-ready version in a repo. Thanks for the cool skin!

Hi there su, im loving this skin. However I had one gripe about using this skin that I have resolved by just integrating library content, but still would love to make this request for non library content as well.

Could you please consider adding support for the seasons view, or at the very least Episode view in addons?

When trying to view a show in TMDBHelper the seasons view looks like this (which isnt a big deal, I would much rather be able to have the correct episode view style atleast)

If someone needs it for a clean installation,the addon to install embuary (best skin for kodi haha) modified the line so that it works in kodi 19 until sualfred update it.

Hi su just wondering if you could guide me in the right direction, regarding my earlier post about adding Episode Views to TMDBHelper I tried doing it myself by mirroring the changes you made in a previous version of Embuary where you enabled episode views for Embuary Helper however none of them have worked for me. 

Can you let me know if I've done something wrong or if I need to make more changes to add support for TMDBHelper?

I tried adding either of these to both ListView and EpisodeView as you did for EMbuary info/helper in xml/Inlcudes.xml

!String.StartsWith(plugin.video.themoviedb.helper) or !String.StartsWith(Container.FolderPath,plugin://plugin.video.themoviedb.helper)

EDIT: So I got it working by changing the first item in the list rather than adding it at the end, where it said plugin://, i just added plugin.video.themoviedb.helper and it worked though I have to press the view I want twice to set it that's a very small thing I could care less about. Im just putting it here because maybe Im doing it incorrectly which is why it caused this little bug and maybe I just happened to arrive at the same result

Tempory fix to get this skin running in Matrix is to manually edit the addon.xml and bump the xbmc gui version to 5.15.0. There were no important changes which could affect this skin. Will take care of it as soon as I find time.

I extracted the files and edited the addon.xml to 5.15.0 and re-zipped it.
When i try to install it, I get and error message saying it failed because of invalid structure.
Any chance you can tell me what i'm doing wrong?

I had the similar issue. I installed Kodi 18.9 first. Then I installed Embuary perfectly. Finally, I updated Kodi to 19.0. The screen showed that the addons were transferring the addons to new environment. After that, I use this method to modify the xml file then zip it again for reinstalling the skin. But it looks missing some dependencies or the the dependencies are not supported for Kodi 19.0. So I failed to update it. My device is n nVidia Shelid TV 2017.

Hi, I'm using the Embuary skin for the first time, it looks amazing.

I accidentally did something ,so now when I'm watching a show, I can see at the bottom of the screen, the poster, episode details, and the timeline for the video.

But no player controls like pause, play, stop or the menu options for info.

How do I get it back to playing the video without any OSD?

(What's odd is the timeline for the video does not progress, it stays stuck at a fixed time.)

Must've been a bug. Restarting Kodi got rid of it.

recently i change to jellyfin with jelly for kodi addons, when setup custom widget, i add video library - movies which i already sync to kodi. but when i click the movie it no show me the information page, it just show me plot , play , close.

i have setting kodi media when click play to when click show information.

i install embuary use kodi repo.
any setup i miss?

Sounds like a Jellyfin addon sync issue and wrong database handling. Hands bound.

Are you using the Jellyfin addon or the Jellycon addon?  There is a distinct difference between both, just the same as Emby vs Embycon.  Jellyfin translates your media files from the filesystem directly to KODI DB as if you scanned sources, when you click on default Kodi menu items its pointing to the KODI DB and plays back.  Jellycon is a streaming addon that doesn't synchronise your content from Jellyfin to KODI so you have to change the default menu items to point to Video Addons > Jellycon > Jellyfin Libraries > Movies etc

I use Jellyfin and not Jellycon, which means after KODI launches, it will perform a server sync and I use the default menu items, create custom menu items, playlists, widgets etc accessing content directly from KODI DB and not via Video Addons.
