Running the latest nightly of Leia on Android (Shield TV with SE 7, Android 8) and the skin is just running fine. I solved the issue I had with skin shortcuts a few weeks ago and did an update yesterday evening but it seems that the version is still the same as before because none of the menues were reset. By "forcing a repo update" you mean manually opening the context menu of the repo and selecting "update"?

If I may add a few things to the skin that I'm curious about?

- Is an option planned to let the user customize the colors? So far I can't seem to find an option to e.g. change the green (selected) to maybe orange or red.
- Is there a way to remove the "settings" entry from the shutdown menu. When pressing left and selecting shutdown, the first option is always "settings" and I have to press right once more to select "exit". I know it may sound petty but I'm used to selecting shutdown and pressing "ok" two times in a row will exit Kodi. Just a force of habbit I got used to over the years (and so did my wife who has to get along with a new skin again )
- When selecting "update skin" from the sidemenu, Kodi often just closes. Is that intentional or an issue?
- When pressing "info" while watching a video, the playback is paused. Also intentional?

The skin already has included different color themes. If you want to modify the default one, you have to edit the defaults.xml of that color. But keep in mind that skin updates will revert these changes.

I'll add a option for it.

Should be fixed with the update of today, which is available on the repos sind 3 hours.

Wanted and can be disabled in the skin settings.

Yes I have seen the themes but I was referring to something like a color picker, preferably with an option that would stick through updates. But np. Maybe in the future ?

No to any color picker thing, sorry. It's often not enough to change a color value, because in some cases other colors of that window won't fit anymore. Editing the XML is the way to go.

When i have DialogPVRChannelsOSD.xml open like in the image

As soon as i click to change to another channel Kodi crashes, all i see in at the end of the log is. There is a crash dmp if you want it

Same action i Estuary works fine. I reported this already and you said it was a Leia problem any chance it's a simple fix like the reloadskin one?

I can confirm that it's working in Estuary. But I have no idea why it's crashing with Embuary. I'm running out of ideas.

Found the issue and reported it to the Kodi devs. @ksooo is already taking care of it. I'll push a skin based workaround later this evening so you don't have to wait until the upcoming PR has been merged.

I have menu entries in both the TV hub and the movies hub that take me to (skin helper) genres.
The shortcut points to "Video Library -> Video Add-On -> Skin Helper Service Widgets > Video Add-On -> TV shows/movies -> Genres".
After todays update it shows the different genres as posters, even if it's set to "wide".
Is this something you can have a look at, or is this not skin related?

 Fixed. Currently pushing to the repos.
Please note that the wide view is gone and posters are used now.

Nice. Looks good, but browsing into the various genres displays green posters instead of the actual artwork. If I enable "hide labels" in the view mode it shows the artwork correctly.

I have another problem: Having super favorites as a widget in the main menu does not let me start any video apps. If I define the widget as "video" or "music" or "picture" or "program" it only brings me to the respective menu of such category. If I use the standard favorites as a widget it only starts the selected video app one time. Next time nothing happens when I click on it. I have to reload the skin and then it's working again - but again only for one time. I am sure it was working just fine in previous versions of the skin.

I guess you are using Leia. It seems to be related to the skinhelper widgets script and Kodi 18. I'll change the default widget path to the Kodi internal one.

The change is already on GitHub. So feel free to manually install it if you want to give it a try. Please note that the widget path has to be reset again.
