That's because you already have Kodi installed and in that case it suggests the location of the current installation.
So either set the location manual or uninstall it before trying to install a new version.

Thanks, but what I actually did was the following:

1. Run 32bit installer
2. Did not install but exited the installer cancelling the installation
3. Launched the 65bit installer.

There was no 32bit installation present on my PC.
