Hi
after update to 17.4 the 'c' menu point 'scan to library' doesnt work anymore
It is a known bug?
(no log errors appear in kodi.log if I use this)

Let's start with a full debug log anyways to see what happens under the hood of your Kodi machine.
Without that log, it's all about guessing.

I can confirm I have the same issue but on Windows rather than Linux.
Windows 10 x64,
Updated to Kodi 17.4 - Right click on an unknown TV series - Scan to library.
Nothing happens.
Downgrade back to Kodi 17.3 - Right click on the same unknown TV series - Scan to library.
Dialog box pops up asking me which series it is.

Same issue on my Kodi 17.4 (Xiaomi MiBox). I have another in my room with 17.3 and works ok there.
