Just wondering if there is a way to have Kodi on a new Apple TV without paying for a developer account?

I really like Apple and have apple products which is why I want to. Currently have a FireTV that has been modded with Kodi and use that with a WDmycloud.

Unless something has changed, you don't need to pay for a developer account to install Kodi (rather than the cut-down, App-store-friendly MrMC - which is a great solution for many though) though you do need to jump through a few hoops.
