I use a keyboard with scroll pad etc.  Is there a way to select multiple file folders (in creating a playlist for example) without the folder opening to show all files?  I simply want to be able to select multiple folders to add to a playlist without having to do them one at a time or having them open when I left click or right click or hit enter. 
Whatever key I seem to use opens the file instead of just highlighting it.
