If I open the PVR-Guide (EPG) and select an entry on another channel, then the selection is jumping back to the actual program after a few seconds. It seems to be the $OSDTimeOut-value.
The selection should stay where I want it to be

Sounds like a bug.

Not sure I understand the problem completely, though. What is the "actual program"? Do you mean the "channel currently playing" if any?

Do you have the setting "preselect playing channel in lists" activated?

Can you reproduce this 100% or does it only happen sometimes?

$OSDTimeOut value is for sure is unrelated.

It is jumping sometimes 2 rows back, if I press 4 times "down", sometimes it goes back to the first entry :~

After a little bit more investigation, it seems to occur only on Estuary Mod V2. I should have checked it before with Estuary. Sorry for the inconvenience

I don't think the skin matters. This sounds like a core issue. Please confirm: if it "jumps", it "lands" always on the currently playing channel. It does not jump if no channel is playing?

Sorry, I have my difficulties to understand you. What exactly is the "first highlighted entry"? I thought the result of selecting some entry is that it is highlighted afterwards. How can it be that you select something and something else is still highlighted? Confused... You mean the entry that was selected before you selected another one gets automatically re-selected?

You are using tvheadend as backend, right? If so, have you "async epg transfer" enabled in pvr.hts settings?

And yes, I enabled "async epg transfer" in the addon-settings on my RPi. But disabling doesn't make a difference
