I am trying to connect an Android box.  It works on the network just find at my home.

However at my mom's residence, the Android box cannot stay on the network.  The Wifi keeps alternating on an on/off pattern, alternating about every second.
This is driving me crazy.  Any help, ideas, advice much appreciated.

Sounds like weak WiFi.
Can you connect the Android box to the modem / router by Ethernet cable ?

I wish that I could but the modem is too far away.  The Apple Box works just fine.

That doesn't sound like a Kodi issue. I am not sure how we can help you here.

Being able to keep a reliable WiFi connection has nothing to do with Kodi and this is not a general Android forum.

You need to either ask who ever you bought the device from or on a Android support forum those kind of questions.

 Exactly, weak wifi connection tends to ON/OFF Android box make sure to get close to your mom's router.
