Finding a source
#1
I am new to Kodi I have it on a firestick. I am trying to watch things but none of the sources seem to work. How do you find a reliable source?

You rip your media.

You put it on a server on your LAN

You point your kodi device at it (ie add a source) and scan it into your library

= Reliable.

What are you finding unreliable?

The key point is to use honest, legitimate and legal media, not some crappy stolen illegally sourced and potentially malware-filled pirated media from some shady internet source via a 3rd party add-on that violates our piracy policy (wiki) and isn't supported here.

If you haven't read said policy then I would urge you to do so, as you agreed to abide by it when you signed up here.
