v18 Problem with playing next video automaticaly
#1
Since a few weeks (and the corresponding builds of Kodi 18 - Alpha 2), i sometimes have the following problem:

I habe selected to play the next video automaticaly.

Sometimes it works just normal, lieke it should.

But (and it is getting worse with newer builds), i have the situation, that the first video plays normal (mp4 files with aac codec), and when the next file should be played, i only the the "wait" symbol/animation from kody, and nothing happens. If i then hit "stop" and i start he next video manually, it playes well, but on switching automatically to the next -> same procedure.

Does anyone else has this problem? Is it a bug, or is it related to my system? I dont think it is my system, but youll never know.....

There are still situations, were it works fine, or the behaviour only comes up after a few videos.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Always use a paste site like pastebin.com. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

This sounds similar to a known bug, please provide debug log following above instructions.

Is this correct with the log?

I have reproduced it, with debugging on.

Sorry, i am new to this.

Hello.

I tested it, but the problem is still exactly the same. No change.

I can help in any way, just say.

-> Because i looked a little bit around: The error seems to go away, if DXVA2 Hardware Acceleratiion is disabled in the player settings )only one try, but it worked).

Can you do a new debug log showing it not working using that build please, it had been tested as working on Linux but maybe Windows is doing something slightly different.
