Missing tv show in my library
#1
I just added a new TV show and it isn't showing up in my library.
I'm using Mysql as the storage method and all other shows have worked fine until now.
I see the show in the files table and the path table but nothing else. if i move the folder outside of the scan path and refresh the library those records arent removed.
I've also tried setting the TV type to none then back to tv so it can refresh the entire TV section of the DB and it still didnt help.
I've even deleted the entire video DB and let the system re build it from scratch and it still didn't show up.

FYI I use the nfo metadata files to keep my stuff from getting hosed upon re import. but of course there is no nfo for this new show yet as it wont scan properly.

ANY ideas?
THANKS!

Can we win any prizes if we can correctly name the missing TV show? Smile
How about providing a debug log (wiki) ?

It's Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan

And if I do enable logging what specific process would help?

Just enable debugging in general for now and provide the log via a pastebin website.

The series is listed in TheTVDB.com ( https://www.thetvdb.com/series/tom-clancys-jack-ryan ) , so it should be found.

The only Addons i have are Missing movies addon an log uploader and global search.
Maybe there is unused repositories? cause i dont have anything actually installed.

Nothing installed..? Perhaps you conveniently forgot about them, but the repositories are there.

Just an FYI...

For some unknown reason, the TVDB scraper doesn't seem to recognize "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan", even though the show is listed there under that name.

I used the The Movie Database scraper instead and that worked for me...

Yeah, I saw the same apostrophe issue with Filebot as well when using the TVDB as the scraper.

It's cool. If it were easy, everyone could play... :-)

Just noticed someone reported the same issue with Marvel's tv shows. So it seems to be a global problem at TVDB (again!!)

I have had no problems scraping Marvel previously, so some recent change has been made.

Maybe @scudlee might know of a fix.

I have a fairly simple fix, but I need to know whether the apostrophe issue (or similar) appears anywhere else - like episode titles or plots - so I can fix them at the same time, if needed.

So if you can think of any good examples to test, please do and report back.

Edit:  Never mind, it looks like they do.  Pull request(s) sent
