Hi,
i'm happy to see Amazon fixed deinterlacing problem!
So, atm which are the limitations using 4k stick for kodi and other apps (netflix/prime/disney+, etc) ? In what Apple 4k or odroid are superior?
Thanks,
Antony

Sadly for me in conjunction with Tvheadend and German DVB-T the Fire TV 4K is not working reliably. It seems depending on the audio format of a channel there is heavy stuttering and audio delays. Some channels work perfectly smooth. It's the same with latest firitschbuild and latest Kodi Alpha.

I just wanted to check if some poor guy with broken amlogic android BSP would be able to see DTS-HD with the DTS-HD-MA vs. DTS-HD split that I have in my fritschfiretv version. I found something with the video ref clock (only used if sync playback to display is enabled and most of you don't use cause of your passthrough LED ;-)) and fixed that one top. Let's see ... other than that: rebase on Leia which is not developed anymore.

AppleTV 4K or current gen iPad Pro's are probably the closest analog?

I think they won't care about the 4K stick anymore. Reason: No one bought the cube ;-) besides you "advanced / expert" user guys, everyone who just wanted netflix / prime with 4K just got the cheap FireTV 4K stick and the Cube ... not. Too expensive for the additional value of average joe.
