I was going to free up some space on my FireTV Stick 4K, and came across a hidden file in a hidden folder of 1.6GB !!! Since the stick has only 8 GB of storage this stunned me.
The file is in "storage/emulated/0/DCIM/.thumbnails/.thumbdata4-1967290299". I know that on Android the DCIM folder is provided for images and thumbnails, but that there is such a big thumbdata4-1967290299 file inside, I had no idea.
My guess is that it can be deleted without any problems for stick's functionality. I looked at the tips on the net, and fund that after deleting the file, it is desirable to create an empty file with the same name in the same place, and only then reboot-at stick.
Question, what is the size of that file on your FSTV 4K ?
