I will test once more and let you know on Monday. I'm not home this weekend. What is already different is that there's a working 'fullscreen' (but smaller of course) of Kodi in the upper left corner, not something unwachtable like this:
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2791978
Where there's only a part of the Kodi screen in the upper left corner.
Windows 10 Pro (64bit), Kodi v19.1 "Matrix"
Intel NUC8i3BEH (Samsung 970 Evo, G. Skill Ripjaws 8GB)
Samsung UE49KS7000, Logitech Harmony remote 350
AudioEngine D1, Synology DS218j NAS (SMB protocol)

So did some more testing. Tried installing 32bit version, but same there.
No positive result yet. There are two 'different' cases tough:

Case 1:
You turn the display back on when there is nothing playing (so the menu GUI is shown)
Screen is the upper left corner and is unreadable/watchable:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WDQP-It...sp=sharing
Log: https://paste.kodi.tv/zayunarixi.kodi

Case 2:
You turn the display back on when there is music playing (with music visualisation), didn't test with videos
Kodi 'window' is fully readable, but small in the upper left corner:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XMrVlEr...sp=sharing
Log: https://paste.kodi.tv/eyibozepat.kodi

Same problem as:
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=335298
and
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=340050
haven't tried this workaround yet: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2815803

let's continue testing with http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/windo...va-x64.exe
I don't promise that it will work but at least I think we can figure out what's going on.

I just found 2 solutions in an other thread:

a)
The display resolution for applications in Windows 10 can be adjusted to e.g. on 4k TVs to read texts better.
For me, the resolution is 300%
If I set it to 100%, Kodi 18 no longer shrinks.
It's not perfect because i can not use Windows, but at least Kodi 18 will work.
Functionality as with Kodi 17.6 would of course be nicer.

So now the better version:

b)
Click on Kodi.exe with right mouse button.
Properties / compatibility
Change High DPI Settings / Override High DPI Settings
application
Save

Now i can work and read in win10 on a 4k-Display and Kodi 18 stays in fullscreen.

Here is my detailed picture

Sorry, Again no luck:
1) Nothing Playing: https://paste.kodi.tv/nagisitona.kodi
2) Music Playing: https://paste.kodi.tv/tokarunubo.kodi
Same results as https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2817839

Then I went back to the official Kodi 18 and tried grobiralf suggestions
a) 100% res nothing playing: https://paste.kodi.tv/uqepaqisiq.kodi
results in full but small Kodi window in upper left corner
a) 100% res music playing: https://paste.kodi.tv/vupohobaxe.kodi
results in a mega large screen where I can only see a part of Kodi
b) adjust override High DPI Settings: https://paste.kodi.tv/ceyataheya.kodi
Works like a charm. So I will stick to that.

@afedchin thanks for the energy and time you took.
@grobiralf thanks for the workaround I can live with.

Really want to say that it works, but it doens't:
https://paste.kodi.tv/anafufazan.kodi

A bit strange (or sad) that there are others who have the same problem, and that only I do the testing and provide debug logs. If there's something else wrong with my system or setup, that will never be excluded. The workaround with the DPI override does work tough and I can live with it. So @afedchin if you're tired of this and no one else cares about this problem, you may drop it. You don't have to do this for me alone.

Well now, indeed. I guess I had to many Kodi exe files in my download folder...

So I tried your e6f72d7a build from https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2818311
And it works! Disabled DPI override tried everything: Music playing, nothing playing swithing my TV on and off. Kodi allways appears in fullscreen.

So thank you very much!

If anyone would please be so kind to also test this build from afedchin (make sure to disable the DPI override if you enabled it) and let us know if it works for you.

Hi,

I also tried with e6f72d7a without DPI override and it works perfect.

Kind regards
