Good day. Plz help to find version with working 5.1/7.1 pass through and hardware H.265 decoding.

Device:
Xiaomi Mi TV2 40"
CPU: Cortex A9 Quad Core 1.45 Ghz
GPU: Mali-450 MP4
OS: Android 4.4.2
RAM:1.5 Gb
Rooted: Yes
Output sound chanel: RAW S/Pdiff coaxial
Sound Reciever: Pioneer VSX-1018
Content: 1080p MKV with DTS/HD-MA sound and video comressed with HEVC(.H265) from DLNA server.

Sound and Video works perfect in built in Xiaomi player, but i want KODI extensions and visualisation.

Already tested:
KODI 16.1 - just stereo or noice with audio passthrough
KODI 17.6 ported - no hardware video decoding support. Framerate is terrible. Same trouble with sound.

May be i shuould try versions from test-builds ?
Or some work around with using external player from KODI?

Android 4.4.2 is absolutely no longer supported by us.

It's very strange.

About a half of all smart TV and TV boxes uses that Android version.
And It looks like there is no KODI verison for arm with correct sound work at all.

I guess that says enough of all the TV manufacturers, and how much they care about their customers.

Best thing to do is get a decent device - you can run Kodi on a Rpi, there's plenty of cheap capable devices

Try using the SPMC (Kodi Jarvis) App and RAW audio passthrough or as suggested get a modern media player.

SPMC have same issues. + troubles with .H265 hardware decoding.

I do not need other hardware solution.
I just want DLNA player with visual info about films. Looks like it's not KODI.

And once more. 5.1/7.1 Audio Pass through and .H265 hardware decoding works perfect on Xiomi native player.
So It's realy program issue - not hardware.
