Yes. I tried a nightlies from the master and I must say you did a great job. I just had to add a custom font (I like Helvetica). By the way Kodi default font selection is very limited

Selection included is limited because font files can be very large.

I had a look on github. Am I mistaken in not seeing an option for border opacity? I hope that can be added, for screens with aging pixels (plasma and, more current, OLED).

Thanks a lot!

Edit: ok, tried Kodi 20 just to check this (not on my HTPC). Apart from running into a memory leak that ended up with Kodi taking in excess of 8GB of RAM and crashing :-D

I discovered that the opacity is for both the subtitle font and its border. Then there's interaction with both blur and shadow. All in all, more options than anyone could probably desire for subtitles. Thanks for this, it's much appreciated.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first (usually it's enough to follow instructions in the second post).

Font addons were added to the core long ago https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/13515 but it seems no one has ever made a single one Smile We could well provide a few more font options via the repo

I didn't even know it existed, is missing in the wiki addon developing?
