KODI doesnt load channellist
#1
I have 2 MXQ pro android boxes with KODI version 17.1 installed.

I have installed IPTV simple Client on both and added a m3u stream.

This has worked flawless until last weekend, when it suddenly stopped loading the channellist on one of them.

When I start KODI and the channellist is supposed to start loading, I see a short blink and nothing more on one of the boxes.

I thought that it was broken in some way, so I bought a new MXQ pro android box with KODI version17.5 installed, but I do get the same result with that one.

I have switched places with the one that is working, with the same result.

I have upgraded KODI to version 18.1, without any change.

I do have 2 Windows 10 clients with KODI version 17.6 and 18.1 and they can load the channellist without any issues.

Has anyone experienced something like this and have a solution to the problem?

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

I will collect the logs asap.

One more thing that I have noticed is that this problem is only on android OS.

I did try a new m3u stream last weekend and after that I could not go back to my original m3u stream, or the new m3u stream.

On my Windows 10 I don´t have any problem switching between the two m3u streams that I have.

I just tried this on my android phone and could not have my new or old m3u stream loading in KODI after I tried to switch to the new stream and back again..

I have one MXQ pro box left that I have not changed the m3u stream on yet, and all is working on that box until next week when that m3u stream expires.

The new MXQ pro box have never worked with any m3u stream.

I have tried with 18.1 too, but to make it as clean as possible i did a factory reset on the box and just wrote the m3u stream in and created the log.

I can do it all again and send you the logs using version 18.1.

Downloaded there is no problem, but connecting to the m3u url list doesn´t work from a KODI on Android.
