I was having a problem with kodi always freezing when I tried to watch a movie, but it would start up and work for the most part. I don't know exactly what I did, but now it crashes on startup. I don't even get to the splash screen. Here's the crash log https://paste.kodi.tv/qixupovawa.kodi

You broke your graphics driver installation:

First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Thank for the reply. I hate to sound like a noob, but I still can't get this figured out. My computer has an Intel HD Graphics 4000. I tried reinstalling the Intel driver, and a bunch of other stuff, and still no luck. The strange part is I'm not having any other issues that I can tell. No display issues, I can still watch movies with the native player and well as with my web browser. Synaptic isn't showing any broken packages, all packages are up to date. Any advice? or do you need any other info that might help?

Nevermind I got it working. Thank you very much for the help and pointing me in the right direction. Not exactly sure what happened, but apparently i965-va-driver wasn't installed. I might still need help with the freezing issue if it's still doing it. Should I start a new thread for that?

Everything seems to be working fine now, no freezing either. Thanks again for the help.
