If your EPG contains a EPG thumb it's currently not possible.
ListItem.Icon + ListItem.ActualIcon will return the EPG included thumb.

i use an resource addon for that

its based of the images provided by the logo db, but zip exceeds limit of filesisize to put in a "repo"

i've allready tested that, but unfortunately some icons are outdated

The problem is that ListItem.Icon + ListItem.ActualIcon gets overwritten by the ListItem.EPGEventIcon. There is no value filled for the logo. So you have no option to place the logo next to the EPG thumb.

Tell me, will ListItem.EPGEventIcon return whatever artwork exists from the backend or just thumbnails? Reason I ask, Nextpvr seems to generate a poster image and TV Mosaic for instance a Fanart/thumbnail image. It's something I've never been entirely sure about, particularly as the name of this Listitem is a little ambiguous. My current backend does not support any artwork images and have to use the Skin Helper Script to collect PVR artwork, so it's something I've always been curious about.

ListItem.EPGEventIcon returns the available thumbnail of live tv / epg data. There is no such value for recordings.
In recordings you need Leia + a backend that supports it. And it will be filled to ListItem.Icon (ListItem.ActualIcon is the channel logo). In TVH you will get the same artwork when it was airing. And it can be everything. Poster, 4:3 thumbnail, 16:9 thumbnail.

Just to prevent confusion -> This is not the case for the PVR info dialog. You will only have channel logo or the thumbnail.
