I do see similar behavior with AMD systems (using my LE9 builds with up to Kodi 18.2 from yesterday). The memory leak is visible with AMD VDPAU too. Edit: most likely only fragmentation on VDPAU.
My HTPC is shutting down when idle, therefore I had no pressure for additional research regarding the seen ~1 Mbyte per minute.
