Unable to install kodi

That would be a question for Rockchip.

If there's no uninstall option, then they have set it up that way to make it unremovable (or difficult to).

Normally the only option in such cases is rooting, but all of that is way beyond what we support here as it's nothing to do with us.

Thanks for that Darren, much appreciated. I was actually asking for a friend. I got an mx10, which came with another form of Kodi but was uninstallable. Looks like he's stuck with a pretty lame version...

And as it's a 3rd party vendor fork that we don't know what they've changed inside it, we do not support it.
That I understand, it is better to just download a fresh Kodi to the box from Kodi directly not from Google store, that is how I do it and have never found problems with Kodi installation......
have h96 max with rkmc installed (along with mc - media centre, which refuses to open). would like proper kodi (info wall, etc.,) but there's no 'uninstall' under the rkmc app?

running android 9

how do you uninstall rkmc and media centre?

tia
Search the new firmware for the H96 Max, upgrade from Android 9 to Android 10, should have the RK Kodi 18.7 or higher....
