I'd like that to. It would mean the plugin would have to scan your current installation for plugins/scripts/skins, compare that with the plugins available on the server and there must be version control system of some kind.
I could add a file with a version definition in it for each plugin/script/skin, but that would mean a lot more work maintaining the files.
I also would like to add a changelog that can be viewed from the XBMC installaton. But mI really need to find the time to learn some python. Python is not very difficult to learn, but it will take some time for me to master it. Time I don't have at this moment because I'm working 60 to 70 hours a week. In a few months I'll have more time. Then I can give it a try.
