Hi. The test release from 05.03.20 is now gone from download. Is there a place I can still download it or has the fix been added to a newer release?

Try a nightly Leia, afaik we picked the change to our stable release.

If not -> v19 has it

Will try the nightly, thanks. Are these some kind of automated builds?

v19? Afaik it uses newer python version v3(?), so most of the add-ons will not work?

Just use the Leia based nightlies. Here Python2 is still used.

I had a similar problem, tried what @fritsch suggested and it works.

Just for the record, I received an Android 10 TV Box this week. Configured it to watch spanish public channels through the IPTV client. But Kodi was crashing completely everytime I was selecting the channel. After I found this thread, I downloaded and installed Kodi nightly built from 10/05/2020 and now it works. I didn't do anything like enabling ffmpg + videoplayer or the like. Just uninstall the "faulty" Kodi version and installing this new one.
