I'm not certain, but I do believe if you are using a mouse (hard wired or BT) you simply right click to be able use the cut & paste functionality. It took me years of having an android phone before I realised you can use your finger & simply press & hold to activate the same cut & paste Functionality.
I may be wrong in some way & will gladly welcome being corrected!
Meanwhile I still have a problem with trying to add text on my android phone by using the finger hold procedure. Trying this method closes the dialog box. I would use that USB mouse & keyboard but my new phone has a different connection that won't take the standard USB connection. Alternatively tried an adaptor connection with NO Connection.
It gets worse, as I have an LG WebOS tv that KODI does NOT have version to install with jailbreaking a new TV or the confusing Developer Mode Setup with elaborate configuration. No wonder people pirate stuff?
