Is it possible to transfer a Kodi build from a fire stick to an Xbox one x? I was able to install kodi to the Xbox but it didn't do anything when I tried to restore the build with backup addon from the usb drive.

If you've exported your library to separate files and save the meta-data off to each movie folder; It's easier to just make separate installations, copy the sources.xml and scrape fresh. The back-up works if the internal paths are the identical to restore a device to what it had with settings. (in your case that isn't true).
