Set screen resolution to FULL HD - Kodi 18.6
#1
Hi there,
I own a T95 max Android tv box:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07PK8B...UTF8&psc=1

I download latest build of Kodi (18.6) from the google app store.
I use the tv box with an Optoma Projector (HD141x) via HDMI. This is a FULL HD projector.
I correctly setup android 9.0 to view itself in 1080P mode.
I know there is two setup of display for KODI, one is for the user interface, the other is for playback:

1) From settings \ system \ display
the screen resolution is stuck to 1280x720P. There is no other option to choose from.

2) From settings \ system information \ screen resolution is 1280x720p - full screen

How can I fix that? It's an hardware limitation? How can I setup the playback of videos to 1920x1080P

Thanks

Kodi on Android gets the resolution from your operating system. If you think you've set Android to 1080p then post a log file which might give us further insight.

Logfile suggests that 1280x720 is the highest resolution available

this is very strange. The tv box is capable of a FULL HD signal. Via android system setting, I set the FULL HD resolution. What else I can do?
Thanks

if you connect a PC to the projector, and you get a FullHD image, then the T95 box is apparently allergic to the projector.
Have you tried a different HDMI cable, also make sure the projector is powered on when the T95 is booting.
