So I am having a performance issue with this skin.
Everytime I load up kodi every menu takes like at least a minute to load. Sections such as "Because you watched X" even take longer. I figure this is because it queries the imdb database for ratings and similar movies.
Also when opening a series the "Watch Season X Episode Y" button only loads in after like 20 seconds or something, probably because there is another slow query going on in the background.
What I am wondering isn't there some sort of cache in place? If not it would be possible right? I am a coder myself so I could go and add it but I wanted to ask if it was just me encountering this problem first.

Btw. the search is also really slow for some reason.

Not sure if it is related but I was having the same issue and discovered it was due to some of the advancedsettings I was using I deleted all the advanced settings except the no splash setting and then my widgets all loaded instantly.

 
There is definitely a cache in place within Kodi its in the Userdata folder I dont use Jellyfin so I dont know much about it but some assumptions on my part is your Jellyfin Server Library is acting like an addon and yes I assume it has to pull the information upon every refresh whether or not you can trick Kodi into caching your servers Library Im not sure. I use addon Library integration which basically does something similar it allows you to make a virtual library then it uses the addon to pull video sources across the web. Perhaps you can use addon library integration for the Kodi Jellyfish addon?
