I asked for help earlier with ton of dependent ies failing during install,
I was told it was the wrong repo, but it wasn't.
What I had to do was try to install the skin,
Then when it lists the dependencies just before the install:
Manually install the Skin Helper Background Service from the dependencies view
Manually install the Skin Helper Service manually from the dependencies view
Then install the skin
F knows why.
You are not alone - I had multiple dependencies fail on a fresh install, but they installed fine on a second attempt.
Just looks like an badly sequenced install script, but could potentially be server errors/timeouts during the install - It’s not always easy to tell from the logs which error is the root cause and which is just a knock-on effect, but it looked like there were timeouts installing some of the dependencies for this skin. This is on a Shield Pro with an Ethernet connection to fast and stable fibre, and not something I have seen before over many years using Kodi, so that would be unusual.
