When selecting a trailer it's instructing Kodi to play video from plugin://plugin.video.youtube as it is set in your database when scraped.

This is the default behavior so if you do not have an addon to handle plugin://plugin.video.youtube installed it will fail.

Thanks I have the youtube addon with the api I dont understand why its not using that.

Try clearing the Kodi Cache after uninstalling Tubed.
